Is it possible to receive sound both from computer speakers and headphones simultaneously (music)?
When I want to record guitar, bass and drum covers of songs and then put them on YouTube, I always have the same problem: I can barely hear the backing track while recording. That’s why I thought it would be great if I could get sound from speakers and headphones simultaneously. Is that even possible (I have an alu iMac w/ Mac OS 10.5 Leopard)? Thanks!
Yes it is posible if your soundcard has a second output to plug from, newer computers have the norm plugins in the back plus a set for your head phone and speakers in the front.
I do that all the time, where my desktop speakers are playing plus I can hear it in my head phones as well.
